The Fashion Pact
During the 2019 G7 Conference, a coalition of the world’s largest and most prestigious apparel brands announced The Fashion Pact, a new initiative to accelerate sustainability within their industry.
Working with Boston Consulting Group and The Fashion Pact coalition, I wrote and art directed their first progress report – documenting their efforts on behalf of climate, oceans, and biodiversity.
Despite a tumultuous year as COVID-19 strained all parts of the global fashion industry, brands such as adidas, Chanel, Kering, Burberry, Puma, and H&M demonstrated measurable progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, eliminating single-use plastic, incorporating recyclables into their operations, and developing new biodiversity strategies. The report also featured quotes from over two dozen CEOs, as well as insights from external technical experts such as Conservation International.
Debuted during the 2020 Copenhagen Fashion Summit, coverage of the report appeared in Forbes, WWD, Vogue, and International Leather Maker.
